The Annapurna Base camp trek beautifully combinations Nature and culture excursion. The 13 days guided Annapurna Base Camp Trek commences with exploring the city of Kathmandu. Then, the journey heads to the naturally decorated city of Pokhara. After we enjoy our stay in the city of Pokhara, we drive to Nayapul. Nayapul is the starting and ending location of the trek. Then after, we walk along the terraced fields and immensely beautiful rhododendron forests to villages as Tikhedunga, Ghorepani, and Tadapani. We further trek to Chhomrong, and Himalaya hotel before we reach Base Camp.  Visit in Nepali-

Trek Itinerary- Visit to Nepal

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

On the first day, we receive you in Visit in Nepali-

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara- 6 to 7 hours drive

After breakfast, we begin our drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. We catch the tourist bus to Pokhara at around 7 a.m. The drive along the Trishuli river is beautiful. You will pass along terrace farms, some villages, and temples. If the weather is clear, the views of snow-topped peaks will accompany us throughout the trek. Visit in Nepali-

Pokhara is the most popular valley in Nepal. Besides the beautiful views of the mountain peaks, there are three eye-catching lakes in the city Phewa, Begnas and Rupa. If we have enough time in the evening, we can enjoy boating in Fewa Lake. Otherwise, we can just stroll around the place and enjoy the nightlight of Pokhara. It has some of the finest bars and restaurants in town. Visit in Nepali-

Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ulleri village(1960m) – 5 hours 

Today, we will actually head for the Annapurna Base d, we start our trek.. 

First, we walk down the hill as we follow Birethanti. This river lies at a height of 1,025m above sea level.

Today, we will actually head for the Annapurna Base camp trek. First, we shall drive to the place called Nayapul. This is the journey of about one and a half hours from Pokhara. After the scenic drive in the off-road, we start our trek. First, we walk down the hill as we follow Birethanti. This river lies at a height of 1,025m above sea level. After walking through these prosperous villages along the bank of Modi River, we further move ahead. 

The walk continues to Hille and further takes us to the large Village named Ulleri. On the way, you will cross the sub-tropical forest. Today, you will also get to walk over a few suspension bridges in the area. Ulleri has some beautifully decorated tea house.   Visit in Nepali-

Day 04: Hiking up to Ghorepani (2860m)- 5 hours

Today, we shall depart from Ulleri to reach Ghorepani. About 5 hours to walk takes us to the village of Ghorepani that lies at the elevation of 2860m. On the path, we shall pass a place called TirkheDhunga. Also, we shall cross the Bhurungdi River via a suspension bridge. The trail offers an occasional glimpse of the mountain vistas as we walk via the forest of oak and rhododendron woods. We shall walk past the grazing landscape and cultivated areas. Over the village, we can enjoy the stay in a peaceful environment. The village has two distinct sections, lower and upper Ghorepani. We will most probably walk to the upper Ghorepani.

Day 05: Hiking up to Poonhill (3210m) and then trek to Chuile- 6hours (2100m)

Very early in the morning, we shall begin our hike to Poon Hill. Poon Hill (3,210 m) is one of the major attractions of our trip. About an hour of a walk along the beautiful stone stairs takes us to the view tower at the top. From the top, one gets to witness the brilliant mountain ranges in Panorama. If you trek early in the morning, you can enjoy the unobstructed sunrise view over the high Himalayas. If we are lucky, we might encounter some wild animals and birds on the path. 

After an hour in Poonhill, we shall return back to Ghorepani. We will prepare our bags, enjoy a hot breakfast and then being to climb. The trail takes us to a place called Chuile. This is another beautiful settlement in the lap of Himalayas.

Day 06: Hike to Sinuwa (2360m)- 5 hours

After enjoying the beautiful view from Chuile, we commence our walk. Today’s journey to Sinuwa lying at the 2360m is going to be fun and adventurous. On the path, we shall stroll to Chomrong, a large Gurung village. This is also the entry point to Annapurna Sanctuary.

After some rest, we shall walk above the bridge and being to ascend Sinawua Danda. This journey is rewarding with the stunning panorama of snow-topped peaks and landscapes. The occasional view of the grand peak including Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) facing across the valley is stunning. In Sinuwa, we can enjoy a delicious dinner and get a relaxing sleep.

Day 07: Hike to Deurali-5hr (3200m)

On this day, we shall stroll on a pleasing path crossing side by side with beautiful rhododendron, pine, and oak forest. Likewise, we shall trek to Bamboo. This is a small area with only a few lodges in the center of the forest. After some rest in Bamboo, we continue our trek. 

First, we shall trek to the place called Dovan. We pass along the cold shadow of the forest. Since we need to reach Deurali for the night, we need to ascend to the Hinko cave. Then, we shall depart from the forest area and walk to a small bridge. After crossing the bridge, we hike for some time to Deurali. Deurali has many beautifully decorated lodge. We can crash in any one of them. The entire journey takes about 5 hours.

Day 08: Hike to Annapurna base camp- 4hr (4120m) 

Today is the most important day of our entire trek. On this day, we shall walk for about four hours to reach our destination- Annapurna Base Camp. The Camp seats at the height of 4120m. 

We leave Deurali after a wonderful breakfast in the morning. We can witness the magnificent look of the south face of Annapurna on the top of the sanctuary. Since the waking hours are short, we call walk slowly. It’s important that our body adapts to the increasing altitude. As we approach the base camp, we notice the prayer flag set viewpoint. In addition to the mountains, the striking view of the glaciers will welcome us.

From the base camp, we can witness some mesmerizing peaks such as Singu Chuli (6501m), Tharpu Chuli (5663m), and Hiunchuli (6441m) as well. We will spend the rest of the evening at the Base Camp. You can capture the majestic mountains in the cameras and make the memories last forever. The night in the Annapurna Base Camp is going to the most adventurous one.

Day 09: Trek down to bamboo, 6hr (2310m)

We will wake up early in the morning so that we can witness the most beautiful sunrise of the trip. The view of the sun rising over the peak of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre looks stunning. After enjoying the views, we will get back to our tea house for breakfast. You will be amused to find the finest food even at such an altitude. 

After breakfast, we will start to trace our path downwards. Waving a final goodbye to Annapurna Base Camp, we trek towards Bamboo. The trail is mostly downwards. As the altitude decreases, our body feels lighter. So the walk to Bamboo is going to be easy and fun. The place is filled with a tress of rhododendron and Bamboo. After 6 hours of walk, we will crash in one of the few tea houses suited in bamboo.

Day 10: Trek to Jhinu danda 5 hr (1780m)

Get prepared for another beautiful day of the trek. Today, we shall depart from Bamboo in the morning. We shall trek to the place called Jhinu Danda at the elevation of 1780m. 

The path is slightly upwards in the starting. But we will mostly walk downhill along the forested area. We continue to walk and cross multiple streams until we reach JhinuDanda. The entire trek takes about 5 hours.

 JhinuDanda is renowned for a natural hot spring. After you place your bag in the tea house, you need to walk for some time to reach the hot spring. Dip yourself in the natural pool of hot water and get rid of all the pains from the trek. Embrace the pleasure of warmth and recall the entire journey.

Day 11: Trek to Nayapul, 5hr 

After breakfast in Jhindu danda, we trek towards Nayapul. The entire trek is about 5 hours. On the route, you can enjoy the occasional glimpse of the mountains vistas. The trail is mostly downhill and easy. As you walk through the thick forest, you might also spot some exotic Himalayan fauna. Once you reach Nayapul, the trek comes to the end. 

About an hour of the drive takes you back to Pokhara. The drive is scenic and fun. In Pokhara, you can stroll around the Lakeside and treat yourself with a wonderful dinner. It’s your time to relax and enjoy a wonderful journey.

Day 12: Drive to Kathmandu 

On this day, after breakfast, we shall drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. The return journey will be scenic and adventurous. Once you reach Kathmandu, you can have some rest. Or, you can just enjoy your time strolling around your hotel. You can explore the streets of Thamel. It’s also a perfect place for shopping. If you want to take some gifts for yourself or your loved ones, Thamel has unlimited options. 

In the evening, we shall enjoy our last dinner together. We will take a look at the wonderful journey we accomplished together. After that, you can also enjoy the nightlife of Thamel.

Day 13: Departure day

 This is your last day in this amazing land of Himalayan wonders. Our staff will drive you to the airport, two hours before the international flight. After waving a final goodbye to each other, our journey ends here. We wish a safe journey towards homeward.
